General Information
Q: What arrangements do I need to make to get to Houston for training?
A: You need to make your own flight and hotel arrangements for training. We recommend flying into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for convenience in getting to your hotel and our facility. Please make your arriving flight arrangements the Sunday afternoon/evening prior to the class start date on Monday and your departing flight arrangements 7:30 p.m. or later.

Q: Where do you recommend I make my hotel reservations?
A: While there are many hotels in close proximity to Traver Technologies, we recommend the following hotels because they provide shuttle service to and from Traver Technologies every day, and offer both king and suite room rates. When making your reservation, remind these hotels that you are with Traver Technologies so you can take advantage of our corporate rate.

General Information
Q: How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
A: From Bush Intercontinental and/or Hobby Airports you can use the following transportation services: 1. Arya Limousine Service, 281-759-2222, costs $80 (tolls included) plus $5 parking (on arrival day only). 2. Sam's Limousine Service, 713-780-7077, offers a variety of transportation options and a corporate rate for our travelers but you must make reservations in advance. Taxis are readily available at both airports. The cost varies and you do not need to make reservations in advance.
Q: What arrangements should I make to get from my hotel to Traver Technologies?
A: If you are staying at the Houston Courtyard by Marriott, Marriott Westchase or, Hilton Westchase transportation can be arranged with the hotel's shuttle to and from Traver Technologies' training center. Please check with the porter Sunday night to notify him of your transportation needs. The shuttle generally leaves for Traver Technologies between 7:50 (for BD Boot Camp for Managers) and 8:15 a.m. (all other classes).
Q: How do I get from my hotel to Traver Technologies?
A: Go west on Westheimer approximately three miles to Gray Falls Drive. You will see the Traver Technologies building on the northwest corner of Westheimer and Gray Falls. Traver Technologies is located on the fourth floor.
Q: How do I get from George Bush Intercontinental to
the recommended hotels?
A: Take the airport exits to the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8). Go West on the Tollway. You will pay a total of $3.75 in tolls. Take the Westheimer Road exit and turn left onto Westheimer. The hotels are on the right side of the road, less than one mile down.
Q: How do I get from Hobby Airport to
the recommended hotels?
A: Exit out of the airport and turn left onto Airport Blvd. Turn south (left) onto I-35/Telephone Road. Continue for approximately 5 miles to the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8). Go West on the Tollway for approximately 25 miles. You will pay a total of $3.25 in tolls. Take the Westheimer Road exit and turn right onto Westheimer. The hotels are on the right side of the road, less than 1 mile down.

A: The following materials need to be overnighted to Traver Technologies (Attn: Chrissy Ellis) by the Thursday prior to the training:

Other Useful Information
Q: What will the attire be for the week?
A: Dress for the week will be business casual. This includes nice pants and a polo or golf shirt. The temperature varies inside the building, so for your comfort please bring a jacket or sweater.
Q: What time does class begin and end each day?
A: Plan to arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. each day to allow for check in and a continental breakfast. Class starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. The last day of class will end according to the agenda. As a result, departing flights should be made at least two hours after class ends to allow for airport drive time.
